Default Strup headers + Stock cats + Nismo catback.....WTF!?!

I currently have strup headers on my car and use to have an injen true dual exhaust. Problem was the exhaust always scrapped on things even though it was stock height!

I figured it was the exhaust and decided to listen to some people claiming it was the injen exhaust so i came across a good deal on a brand new nismo catback so i bought it.

I just installed it tonight and on start up everything was fine. Sounds awesome!!

So now i have Strup headers, stock cats, and nismo catback.

I installed everything correctly but i have a banging/rattle/horrible sound like the exhaust is banging against something underneath the car.

WHAT IS THIS!?! I believe its the strup headers are to long or something and make everything hang down to low but i dont know.

Any suggestions?!?

I have the very same setup and no banging. I used to have problems with the nismo+crawford HFCs solved with shims in the rear brace, but have taken them off with this setup. Get underneath the car and move the exhaust around a bit to see if it touching something. I agree, sound is awsome and performace is there!

If the exhaust is banging against the car, I guess you have to put the car on a lift and see where it is banging. Blind internet troubleshooting is not going to solve the problem.

I would be willing to bet money its rubbing on the cross member. That's what happened on my car with the pro-1 exhaust. Same style, single 3" over the member.
