Post up the diagram, if you don't mind.
Also, did you end up trying it? If you do, and it sounds as good as the video I'd get it too. Unless you end up losing power, lol.

absolutely hate the leaky flangeless system of the borla exhaust, along with it's persistence to crack at the H pipe

Don't judge any exhaust by internet videos/audio clips. You really need to hear them in person.

I've had my Borla for 1.5 years or so and I only had one rattle which was fixed in 2 minutes. I really love the sound...the only downside is when you're caught in too high of a gear at too low RPM. Ouch. Seriously boomy in the cabin.

How loud is your stock borla? In those video it's pretty loud, which is understandable considering what he did to it. But is yours anything like that?

Not really. The stock Borla is a deep, solid sounding exhaust. At idle it's definitely louder than stock OEM but in the mid-RPM range it's actually a bit quieter. Then it gets loud at high RPMs again.

The sound in the original video link almost sounds like he has test pipes and headers or something. It was much higher pitched than the stock Borla. Stock has a deeper sound at WOT. It's not really like that clip so much.

Cool. That's actually something i'm looking for. I don't need anything annoying loud. But i definitely want the car to have some growl. Does the car retain the unique sound of the VQ35DE?

If I could get youtube to repeat a loop, I would jack off to this video.

I have headers, resonated test pipes, and borla exhaust. My car sounds NOTHING like this.

^^ LMAO.

Jaeger - The Borla takes away a bit of the VQ's sound since the exhaust is much deeper than stock. It's definitely a head-turning "whoa, that's not stock" sound and I've never heard anyone say they thought it sounded bad. Some people just don't like how deep it is. Part of the VQ's sound comes from the stock exhaust IMO so the Borla does change it quite a bit.

I love the stock sound and if that's what you really want to keep, get the Nismo exhaust. Sounds just like stock but louder and more aggressive. Can't go wrong with the Nismo.

u guys say u have this and that and u dont know why its not sounding like this lol. but he has the SS catback exhaust with a 3" XL turbo muffler.

that is what he sent me a while ago. so lets just figure it out on what hes got. i see he has some mixed up sized on the pipes, but would these pipes fit wiht each other if theyre 2.5-3.0"s?

and would this exhuast be good to get if ur planning on getting a turbo? idk if 2.5 is big enough? but i do see some 3" parts on the setup

^^ note that the 2.5" parts are only where there are two sections and the 3" parts are where there is only one.
