Does anyone have this "basic" same setup?
Crawford Headers>UTR Resonated Test Pipes>JIC Y-Pipe>AAM Single 3 inch Exhaust
I am well aware that the Test Pipes will make the car very loud, but will this setup make the Z basically sound like an unbelievably loud POS?
Does anyone that has aftermarket headers/test pipes/ a single 3 inch exhaust have any personal feedback in any way for me?

The odds against anyone have that exact set-up is 1,000 to 1.
Consider that the sound of any exhaust system is primarily the result of the resonators and mufflers. They are the noise attenuators. Nothing else.
Begin with a 85db cat-back exhaust like the Injen Super SES , adding headers increases exhaust flow. More flow means more noise so bump the noise level to 86db. The same with test pipes. Increase exhaust flow and increases noise level another db for 87db. The signature Injen Super SES sound is there only more loud.
On the other hand look at the comparatively quiet 82db NISMO catback. Add headers and test pipes for performance, and the noise level increases to 84db. Still, the NISMO sounds like a NISMO.
No one can tell you what is quiet, loud and extremely loud. Listen before buying.

just saw this post...if you're still looking for sound clips, I posted some a few weeks ago. I'm also waiting for the snow to clear so that I can do a few more vids w/ the silencer on.
exhuast mods; Strup headers, AAM TP to Y-pipe to 3" single

Ive heard others mention NISMO exhaust with test pipes is EXTREMEly loud, and you mention this. 84db is fine for me though... hmmm what to believe...

Just wanted to let you know that, the crawford headers are going to be a pain in the A$$ to install. As I just got my car back with them installed and it took Z cargarage 13 hours to install them. And they had to remove the motor mounts and jack the engine up to install them. They are a very tight fit in the 350Z. But, well worth it.

well i didnt have the same exact setu up, i had crawford headers, megan test pipes and a injen td ses exhaust and it was a huge drone. with the windows up its very hard to have a conversation. i dynamatted the hatch and spare tire well, sure it added wieght but it took away alot of sound resonating in the cab. something you might want to look into.
