man all these debates confuse the **** out of me! i love the sound and power of the HKS, but if i can get that with the x02, i dont see why not. I know the x02 sounds deeper, but i kind of like the exotic high pitch tone of HKS, but it seems close to "rice" which i do not want. I of course won't be putting twin turbos, so yea lol.

anyone know how much the x02 actually gives (on an NA car) so we can compare performance to the HKS as well?

I like the deep tone of it, but i like the higher pitch tone of HKS better. I just hope the million video's i've watched don't do it justice, and it really does sound amazing in person. Just don't know for sure.

Sure it does. If he got the exhaust well before the TT then I don't see what the big deal is. Seriously, does he really need to spend $1.5k on an exhaust with a smaller diameter piping and has some quality issues from what I've read

Yeah, you get what you pay for most of the time but not all of the time. Seriously, if he had this attitude he'd be rollin' on some Megan BBK

So if you get what you pay for, are you rolling around on Nismo fw/clutch

well that mind set can't always apply to the hks. Look at some of the pics on here. Numerous owners have had there hangers break and have had to have them re-welded. Hell one guys H pipe was protruding in to the main exhaust pipes which is a HUGE NONO.

BTW i got the exhaust while i was in college and got the turbo kit after i got out of school and had a full time job. Make sense now?

Oh yeah... I have some off-brand test pipes that have worked well for me (even I'm surprised )

When I did go higher quality after the cheap ones, the higher quality ones broke so I went back to the cheap ones and they do the job lol

thank you

Look i have nothing against HKS, hell i have their boost controller because it has been proven to be the best. I guess what i am trying to get across to people is to not blindly accept a company as the best just based on their name. Just like their exhaust, it has been proven to have flaws. Don't just say oh its HKS so it has to be better.

i would not blindly buy a product based on name....it pays to do the research and alot of info comes out of these forums.

in my experience...with the name you also get the service...so i don't mind paying a little more
