How long did it take you to install the exhaust with the Z on ramps?! I am liking the exhaust and considering a DIY. Thx

Bill the Cat (Anh-Tuan sp?) we can have a mod day if you like, I can help you swap out the exhaust if you ever decide to do so.

OP-I like the system, very simple look I like it. Although the fix may not be ideal its certainly nothing that will give you a problem in the future. Enjoy the system.

Dammnn good Bert! You got my name right. Friends that I have know for 10 to 20+ years still f' it up with Ahn, Ann, An, etc.

I am thinking road trip from Frederick to FunctionTuned for base dyno, installs -got the Motordyne ISO thermal kit coming, dyno again. If it does not work out, then MOD DAY it is! I am waiting on Tony@FI to reply [West coast awake yet? LOL] to see if we can close the sale. I will keep you posted.

OP - Your install put me over the top with this exhaust. Looks clean and very good. Thanks.

Thanks guys.

The install took about 3 hours. (I could have done it faster) It was very easy; I did it alone while watching my kids. The hardest part was getting the old exhaust out of the rubber hangers. I found it to be easiest to remove the hangers from the car, and then from the old exhaust and remount the hangers back to the car.

At least they're not smaller. I see you have the FI exhaust also, how do you like it?

The tips are the same size, but double walled and as already stated sounds so much better.

I just recently got my FI system in and put it on in my garage. It took about 2 hours to remove the old system and 2 hours to put on the new. The instrctions are crystal clear and all hardware was there. I also got the test pipes with mine. I have absolutley no drone and when just cruising the sound is not noticable inside the car, however when given throttle then it really wakes up. This is by far the sweetest sounding exhaust I have ever heard. All of my friends say it sounds like a porshe or farrari. I would also like to add that the customer support at Fast Intentions is superb. I have worked at performance shops for many years and delt with many vendors but none as helpfull as Tony at FI. I will post pics later. Oh, and the butt dyno results are very nice.

Do you get any rasp with the test pipes with the FI system?

Sounds familiar! .... and darn good sounding too.

After being in the garage for 2+ months, I finally got my Intimidator installed. Your thread put me over the edge to buy it. It is SWEET!

I got tinted by Fresh Designs, Inc. last Friday, got the exhaust installed today, my birthday coming next Thursday - It's the Triple Delight Special! I will start a new thread and post the pics once I PS resize, clean-up, etc.

Nice update.

I recently installed the FI exhaust, and even on my 07, the driver's side tip is .5 of an inch shorter than the passenger side. My tips say "Sebring" on them...

Congrats on a good system

I think that "Sebring" is the co that manufactures the mufflers for Fast Intentions, to a spec designed by FI.

I got past the .5 inch thing...

Either way they do sound good.
