Question test pipe O2 simulaters?

I want to put test pipes on my Z and I can't find O2 simulaters for it. Do I even need them? If so where can I find them?

Your gonna have to learn the search button for this ? Has been asked twice this week. But your new so....

So you want the O2 sensor simulator. Just to let you know just in case you didn't, you can go with the fouler fix which you can get at any automotive store for about 10 bucks. There is a write up on this in the install section.

Now the O2 SS is alot more. I paid 96 with tax. You can get at Summit Racing. Part # CEI-104052. These are just about guaranteed to work all the time. Which I heard of foulers eventually going out (some cases).

No need for that.

Do the nonfouler fix or buy it from me ready to bolt on immediately.

^^^ Correct. Non foulers are hit and miss, and the newer your car is, the more miss than hit. The simulators are almost guaranteed to work, but you need to cut and splice your wiring harness.

Splicing, that is true but it's only four wires directly under your car. I like this way due to it has a blinking led to ensure it's working. That way if the SES light comes again you can see if the light is blinking to see if it went bad, before you run to have the SES checked and really cost more. That way your trouble shooting it yourself to save you time.

But I did offer him both solutions to his advantage.

I bet it's just a matter of time before a plug n play simulator will be out. They're already available for STis, and many other cars.

If they were a nice and cost effective solution they'd be offered now to the Z crowd.

Plus a o2 wire simulator involves more complicated work (if splicing wires and so one) and will be more expensive than the non fouler method.

I assume you have an '06+ ... I haven't heard of any '03-'05 cars with non-foulers done correctly not working. (I have an '05 w/ non-foulers on gutted OE cats and AAM TP's and both had no SES problems)
