Default Is a nut needed for this bolt?

Can someone confirm that the stock muffler does or does not have a nut at the location I have highlighted in the picture above. I was going to just put a nut on there and let that be the end of it but the size of the bolt is something like 7.5mm and I can't easily find a size nut to fit. I just can't remember if I had one there that fell off after I put on my new muffler or there was never one there to begin with.

TIA!

Is that for the hanger? I don't think it has one.
