i agree that its overpriced and i woudl prefer the JIC anytime over this one
but if they are using this vibrant mufler then id like to know how you can get this 216.95$ mufler for 80 buck!

http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...f798ce5e837e24

...or they are using a cheaper option that this muffler

that (muffler) looks like the one they use. i can see his point though all that money and you could buy a muffler and have a shop make an exhaust for about half the cost of aam single. the quality looks good though

I wasn't bothered by the package it came in - I've gotten nice packages on the outside, and when I've opened them up, the part is desotryed...as long as I get it in good condition, I'm happy! (I wasn't fussed about a few small dents on the exhaust b/c it's going to get dented and dirty from normal driving anyways - the dents were super small, too hard to get a good picture of)

There's drone at 80MPH...but that's expected since I have headers, AAM's TP, Y-pipe and the single 3". I should get the silencer this week - then I'll do some comparison videos and drive-bys.

So far, I'm still loving the sound @ WOT... too bad my wife doesn't like it

concerning the overall price, I think it's okay. AAM had to spend time to design, test fit, and dyno it - I've been to muffler places for other cars, and some do an okay job, and others are terrible...buying a direct bolt-on exhuast that is know to fit, work well, and that I've been able to hear how it sounds is nice!

if you are happy thats all that matters...

Injen JIC and those companies also spend time developing the products adn are higher quality in some cases..i guess that was the point...
in any case... probably about 100 bucks lower is where the price shoudl be IMO but... still i dont thin that mufler is 80 bucks...vibrant does make good muflers so id like to know where bert got it quoted for 80 bucks

You didn't come to a complete stop at that stop sign.

Your fly-by and in-car comparison with the silencer in/out will be a huge factor in me deciding which exhaust route I'm taking.

Thanks for being willing to do it...

lol - right at 2.9K the exhaust is fairly quite. Otherwise, I just blast my music and drown out the drone.

**just got the silencer in the mail today - hoping to get some vids this weekend.

Well, I just ordered some vibrant mufflers for my custom job. Still would love to see some more videos if you get to feeling bored.
