Cleaning NISMO CAI

I tried searching but couldn't find any. What cleaner do you guys use to clean out the air filter for the NISMO CAI? After how many miles?

Get a K&N filter cleaner kit from autozone. And I know this is on the forum because I made the same response to the same question.

409 all purpose cleaner works just as well. be sure to reoil the elements when it is clean

Soak it in hot water with some degreaser ( simple green works good )
Dump it out and rinse off.
Then put it in a bucket, put a Scoop of Oxy-clean in there, some more Simple green, and then 2 or 3 2-liters of carbonated water. It will fiz like mentos and diet coke, but it will get cleaner than new!
