Default It's down to 2 systems, which one ?

I have a 2003 350Z with only a K&N in the stock housing. No other mods at this time. I've chosen either the Fast Intentions, and the Nismo due to the great sound of both of them, also the pricing is pretty much the same. Which should I go with ?

if it's all the same to you, go with Fast intentions to support one of the sites vendors.

NISMO is a good exhaust but IMO, overpriced (as all NISMO products are) and looks like stock (meaning one muffler, two tips). If you want a true dual exhaust system for almost the same price, FI FTW.

Both are great exhausts and you can't go wrong with either.

I recommend that you:

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration is best for you. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers.
c. Listen before buying.

are you going to go by the majority's opinion here, or are you going to decide for yourself?

Why get a nismo? I'd estimate that 20% of people that have aftermarket exhausts have nismo. It is very bland, is basically the exact same as stock with slightly larger mandrel-bent pipe into the same muffler configuration. Why not go with a proven true-dual exhaust with an xpipe and GREAT looks?

You should go with the system that sounds the way you want your car to sound - if sound is all you care about.

From those two, I recommend fast intentions mainly because of the true dual design and the fact that you get more for your money. Nismo is great, but like the other member said everybody has it.
