Default fast intentions or injen SES????

Hey, I was going to order some exhuast for my 06 this week coming up. I just narrowed it down to these two exhuast systems. I just want to get the most bang for the buck. The intimidator is about 450$ more than Injen. I dont want to hear replies telling me to search either. I just want to hear from the people that have them, do either one deliver the horsepower they promise? Is one louder than the other, and if so how much? DO you get the drone with Injen? If I get the injen then I will also get their intake. either way I am going with the fast intentions test pipes. Thanks

Well the injen has been known to have excessive drone. I guess theres a reason they are always in the market place for so cheap after people buy the it . The FI unit is real nice, a more louder version of stock with the pros of it being true dual.

Exhaust in general all give about the same horsepower. It all boils down to if you want that extra grunt with more noise or a nice more mellow tone. Personally I would go with the FI, but there are other people that have been happy with the injen.

Set your budget and think about it. Is the extra $450 worth it? Only you would really know.

ya, the drone is really what I am concerned with. I dont want to hate riding in my car because my 1k$ exhaust is too noisy. I think I will just go with the FI.

Very happy with performance. Time slips are posted in the drag racing forum.

I don't have a dyno done yet, but I love my "Intimidator" system. I chose the Intimidator for the looks and the piping is 2.5"ID.(a little bit bigger that some others) I figure it is cheaper to get exactly what you want now than to buy 2 in the long run.

Both are great exhaust systems.

HKS is over priced for what it is. Personally, i'd get FI with test pipes since itll still be quiet. the x pipe quiets it down a lot. I'd get FI or Stillen. Injen sounds okay, but you'd need to do the X pipe mod to cut the drone. My friend just did it, and he likes it.

the older Injen is like buying slightly imperfect polo socks at Ross. at least go for the newer ti tip or FI, or you can always have the best and go hks. welding and build quality is gorgeous.

Injen doesnt drone bad unless you put test pipes on. I have HFC's on mine and doesnt drone. I still think the SES is one of the best NA exhausts out there.

I thought that with all this advise, you would have ordered something, and gotten back with us. Guess not.
