Default MAF Sensor on Popcharger

So, I took my car in to have my cathodes rewired at circuit city and everything was hunky dory. then i get my car back, start it up to roll out of the garge and my service engine soon light was illuminated.

went to autozone immediately to get the code scanned, and it returned a code that said something was wrong with the MAF sensor.

now nothing has changed in the car since i took it to circuit city. so i drove home, and popped the hood to look around and see if anything was weird looking, and i noticed that the two screws holding in the air sensor on my intake tube were loose. is this the MAF sensor? if not does it matter that those screws were loose.

i tried tightening down the screws but the service engine soon light was still on when i restarted my car. if i reset my ECU will it go away? what should i do?

That is the MAF sensor... The loose screws might have setoff the CEL... Try cleaning your MAF, retighten everything and get the code cleared by the scanner at autozone... its free.. You can also buy a scanner like I did for 70 bucks and always be able to check your codes and clear your CEL's
