!!MREV2-style plenum on 287hp non-rev-up
I used a very similar design compared to Motordyne's MREV2 lower plenum. The results reflect the same gains as this thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/188419-mrev-v2-independent-dyno-tested-on-bone-stock-287hp-motor-wired-24-7-s-05-touring.html
more specifically, this graph originally posted by Wired 24/7:
I instructed a machine operator from my work place to cut into a lower plenum I bought from GaryKing (G Rides), a vendor on this site.

Just like the MREV2, I used a 287/non-rev-up lower plenum and machined it in that general manner.
Butt-dyno says, "Can't tell if it is any faster, but for sure it feels like a SMOOTHER powerband... More like a sports car should feel."
- the numbers don't lie, it truly is a smoother powerband!

PM Me.
I do not want advertise publicly here because I respect all the R&D that MD, Hydrazine, Wired 24/7, and others have done. Motordyne beat me to the punch, so they get the rights. Reese's monkeys... I'm the one that was sent away to the other island.

Great gains!! Do you have an auto or manual?
Also, are there work instructions and documentation so you can duplicate this process? Engineering drawings, spec sheets?? If you're a Quality Engineer, it seems like you have your stuff together!

I got the green light from my Machine Shop manager that they can do another one! That means I will be taking my original lower plenum to get it machined. And this time, it will be documented (ZLadie2000, I'll post here when that is done too).
My original plenum will be for sale after modification is complete. I may sell the work instructions too.

But you can't honestly say that all things are equal. We all know dynos are dependent on the alignment of the planets, and the twinkling of the stars. No two dynos will give the same info. What we can say is on my dyno, I received very similar gains, evident as low as 3000 rpm.
And, I should note only 2 runs to baseline (better of the two is displayed, not that much difference anyway), and 1 run after install (1 hour 20 min later, same tank of gas, same day, ambient temp was up about 10 degrees F).

I got the second one done and my buddy, after thinking about it for over 4 months is not going to buy it. It is now for sale to my beloved my350z.com community.
