Default NISMO cat-back or magnaflow ? exhausts

gonna be roaming the forums and reading posts on modding, but looking for a nice exhaust mod. is catback the way to go, or any other recomendations?
NISMO parts really worth the exta $, compared to cheaper pieces?

any pieces to definitely stay away from?

In before you get napalmed!

Search in the Exhaust forum, come back in 30 days when you read all the posts there. Bottom line, you get what you pay for!

No problem, check this out,

https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/197329-the-top-100-common-questions.html

All depends on what you want, Nismo is great, but some others are better, depends what type of sound you want.

They have a special on Nismo Exhaust for $950 shipped, you will not find a price lower, retails for $1230 + shipping.

If you take the time to post in the proper forum, I will take the time to reply. Sound reasonable.

OBX is a good quality brand. There is an Ebay HKS knock-off that is topnotch quality too. Haha j/k. My friend has nismo exhaust and it sounds pretty mean. A lot like stock too if you like the stock sound.

guys are gonna flame because we see threads like this ALLLLLLLLLLL the time!!!

the longer you stay in this forum, you'll run into threads like this on a daily basis.

but to be helpful, go with nismo / fujitobo (sp?) / HKS / Greddy EVO TT

the magnaflow is quiet and probably doesnt have much gains. Sounds kinda restrictive IMO

Doesnt have to be loud in order to be a positive impact on
HP, I have had 3 inch pipes on b4 and didnt like the low end torque issue.

PIT exhaust is pretty good for the money. I was really impressed with it and with the cats on it sounds great. Once i get some test pipes or resonaters that dont split in half ill see how it sounds with no cats. I found the PIT exhaust on ebay for 200$ shipped.

Ebay link to it, i bought it from these guys it showed up within the week, probably 3-4 days so i had no issues with shipping. It fits perfect.

all i know is this...i love the sound of my nismo. it is quiet when i want it to be and when i want it to get rowdy...it will. it keeps the great tone of the vq engine but just magnifies it. at WOT it sound GREAT.
