Also how loud is the aps 3" compared to something like the topspeed pro-1. does it drone as bad as the pro1?

So I guess it would go like this...quiet to loud:
HKS TD Ti
Greddy EVO TT (So is this louder than the HKS or bout the same?)
AAM 3"
APS 3"

Do you have any clips of your car driving/fly by's? Im basically trying to get a better understanding of the level and tone of these three exhausts compared to what I got now. It sucks not being close to anyone who has a turbo'd Z

HKS TD Ti

AAM 3"

Personally if you are concerned about an exhaust being too loud, the APS 3" is not for you. As far as I am concerned, It is unbearable for anything other than a 100% track car. at cruise, forget about listening to the radio, talking to a passenger, or using your cell.
If you are looking for a decent FI exhaust with a controlled exhaust note I would look at the following:
APS 2.5" - flows decent, sounds good, but looks stockish
Greddy TT - The drawback to this exhaust is the taper at the point it bolts up to the cats/test pipes
Fast intentions exhaust - their quality is great and I am confident their 2.5" is a true performer
IMHO, the HKS isn't the ideal choice for FI. Yes, you can run it, but I feel any of the three I listed above will be a MUCH better choice
Since I switched from the APS to the Greddy recently, I'll tell you I couldn't be happier. Sounds more mellow, the exhaust tips are finished better, and my neighbors don't glare at me when I leave for work in the morning.
I haven't had a chance to put it back on the dyno. I drove three hours to Seattle for the Golden Gardens NW Nissan meet this weekend and could hear the stereo and my wife. That's a good thing, right?

Hard to say. I've been running the same plugs for 12 months and I think there's been some gradual degradation. I drive around on low boost 99% of the time anyway. It's not like I need a lot of power to lose traction with all the rain we've had. My driveway is growing moss
