Default APS 3" True Dual vs Greddy EVOTT

some input please. I've seen the greddy evott in person and it sounds really nice, but not the APS.. any good quality sound clips/pics floating around of the APS? How much louder is the APS? Also looking at the 3.5" APS downpipes.

What F/I kit did you get?

I like the Greddy only because I used to have the evo2's and they rock.

High power and quiet generally don't go hand in hand.

With all the hassles and poor customer service that APS has, I would not recommend any of their products to anyone.

Go with the Greddy.

^ you have no idea how loud my car is. Just ordered the greddy .Might even perform slight less than my current setup, I need something that muffles my sound a bit better. I'll take some picture after I install it tomorrow .. considering that it'll fit my custom downpipes.

Yeah the greddy is always quiet because they have two sets of big resonators and two big mufflers. That alone will quiet things down very much.

Coming from my Nismo to the TT was a huge difference in sound.

Yea, the videos from max's car sound really nice with the aps setup. I am trying to decide btwn these 2 exhausts myself for my greddy tt setup. If you can please post some drive by clips up of the greddy EVO TT exhaust when u get it put on. I really want to hear the tone of it compared to the aps...I have the hks ti exhaust right now without the greddy tt kit on yet, and its too quiet for my tastes...i hope the greddy is louder with the turbos.

Waah

Got the Greddy today and it does not fit my stupid custom downpipes (angle's slightly off). The APS 3.5" testpipes should fit, right?!!

You can get it to fit. I had to fight a car yesterday that I was putting an EVO TT on. They had cheap Megan Racing resonated test pipes on the car which screws up the angles of the flanges. Put the pipes on the downpipes but don't tighten them. Then put the mid muffler in place and get that bolted up/hung. Try and get everything together loose before you start tighteing everything. Unless your custom pipes are really screwed up you should be able to make it work

does anyone know if the greddy is louder than th hks ti TD. I just want to make sure if I switch its going to be at least a bit louder than my hks I have now on my n/a setup.

Also how loud is the aps 3" compared to something like the topspeed pro-1. does it drone as bad as the pro1?

Any clips of my car is pretty much pointless. I have dump tubes so...
