Default hks exhaust

Just finish my first major mod to my car. It took my buddies and i about an hour and a half to install the hks hi power exhaust including an half hour of fuc**ng around. The exhaust sounds freakin awesome, at idle sounds just like stock but when i floor it it sounds amazing. Have not taken it on the freeway yet, but I'll do it tomorrow when i drive to work. For once I'm actually looking forward to driving to work haha. btw thanks Paul!

congrats, glad you didn't go with the knock-off. even though the price is a bit tempting.

for the guys that want this exhaust, have you checked out the X02, or better know as the HKS knockoff

I wasn't aware of the HKS knock off at the time I bought mine. I've heard really good reviews for it but I think at the end I still would have gotten the real HKS because I'm sort of a parts snob. I would rather spent the extra money for the piece of mind knowing that there's significant R & D hours behind what I am buying.

at idle and low rpms it sounds like stock but when you're driving it it has deep growl to it and when you floor it... oh so beautiful. i love driving through tunnels with it. haha.

That's pretty much how the exhaust sounds though it seems now that I got my flywheel on it sounds louder at lower speeds.
