Default Custom Intake with Blitz Filter

Hi all,

Some pictures of my custom intake I have on for about 500miles. I'm using the Blitz Sonic Power Filter with the heat shield cone. This filter sounds awesome with its deep, low growl. Power wise, I do not have any figures. But the throttle feels much more responsive.

Thats a nice setup. Is there any chance of the heat shield cone hitting the hood when closed?

And do you have part numbers? I might be interested in that setup.

Hello,

I have not encountered any problem with the heat shield cone coming into contact with any other parts of the car at all.

As for the part number for the filter, I do not have it as I got it off my local tuner and it came with an adaptor actually meant for a CT9A Mitsubishi Evolution.

My tuner had to custom fabricate an adapter to fit our sensor pod. The filter mounting bracket was also custom fitted.

Here is a link that has slightly more info on the filter.

Cheers!

Where did you acquire/purchase the silver upper tube and couplings/hoses for that set-up?

Hi,
The aluminium tubing was actually meant for a Honda Civic but it fitted perfectly without any modification to it. The tubing came in an awful anodized candy red and it was sprayed over in silver.
The hoses in the setup was supplied by the tuner. The hose came in 40" length and it was cut accordingly to fit.
