Default quick info on spaced needed between strut tower brace and plenum

i am guessing 1/4'' is not enough, anyone have an idea? having problems w/ the greddy strut brace and new plenum spacer...

problems like what? what size spacer did you use? did you install the strut tower bar spacers that came with the kit?

you need to put more info into the question so people can answer

i followed all of the instructions for the 5/16'' spacer (figured that was in the sig so i didn't need to put twice, sorry), put all strut bar spacers with the kit. i only have like 1/4'' space...that just doesn't seem like much.

Why? 1/4 inch clearance is plenty.

so i just figured it out..added another spacer...no hood rub. had PLENTY of rub under the strut brace, so 1/4'' (slightly less) was not near enough. i kept my hood raised and noticed the engine move much more than i thought when reved up.
