Kinetix V+ or Motordyne 5/16" Isothermal??
Looking for input on which would be more beneficial. I want the setup to fit under the stock strut bar and hood, and I'm told you can go with either or, but not both. Does the Kinetix flow that much more and stay that much cooler than the stock pleum with the motordyne isothermal 5/16" spacer? I was about sold on the MREV2 + spacer deal, but for another $50 I can just get the new Kinetix on top of the MREV2... Suggestions? Comments? Problems?

IMO Motordyne is a better product. Kinetix from what I have seen and was foolish enough to buy in the past is pretty much garage garbage.

so should i not buy the fact that the new Kinetix V+ is "new and improved"? it's supposed to withstand 15psi, which eventually the car should see boost...i dont know about 15psi, but ya...

If your getting the MREV then i suggest not mix matching it and getting the ISO spacer to along with it. Without a doubt, the Kinetix looks better than the stock upper collector, but why take a gamble on performance? The ISO spacer is PROVEN to lower plenum temperatures (especially with the addittion of the CCV valve) and GAURANTEE's HP gains. Kinetix claims HP gains, with a whole forum of people bashing their image for a reason. hundreds of people dont pull things out of their ***, so do your research and you'll see the Motordyne products are the safest most secure way to adding HP through your plenum. Good luck with your decision. +1 Motordyne
Not necessarily. The V+ gains will be close enough to the basic 5/16" spacer.
You may be able to do a little better with a 5/16" spacer but it may not be worth the time or effort of ditching what you have and buying a whole new spacer setup. ...So keep what you currently have (unless you don't care about the time or cost associated with ditching your V+).
OTOH if you have a REVUP engine, I definetly recommend adding the MREV2 to it.
On a REVUP engine the first plenum mod to get is the MREV2 and then add what ever upper plenum mod/spacer you want. Spacers and upper plenum mods don't do jack on a stock REVUP lower plenum. ...But they do work on a MREV2.
