Default Installed Helix V2 test pipes with Nismo exhaust

Just put on my Helix V2 test pipes with my Nismo exhaust. The sound is definately louder but just perfect. Also hardly any rasp. Definately the best mod for the money ($149 shipped) Will try to get some sound clips but have to borrow a better camera.

The install isn't that bad if you have a lift. Took me about two hours since two of the bolts were rusted and stripped so I had to cut them off. The top driver side bolt is a PITA to get to. Best way is to go from under the hood with a lot of extansions, the rest you can reach from under the car.

Drove the car all day today cause just love the sound and the look on peoples faces. Couldn't be more happy

I used the non fouler fix so I didn't get the CEL. Really easy and inexpensive. $6 at autozone.

Yeah it will be louder on stock exhaust. I have it with the NISMO exhaust and when I step on it, the exhaust sounds pretty loud.

I've heard the Fuji with TP's. Not sure I liked it from the outside, inside the cabin wasn't too bad.

What year Z you have? 2004.5+ have the wideband 02 sensors in the cats and they seem to have the most issues with the CEL.

While we are waiting for your soundclip, here is my clip of my Z w/ Nismo Cat-back paired up with Kinetix RTP's and JWT Flywheel.

Note:
The purpose of this vid is to provide a soundclip of the Nismo Exhaust w/ Kinetix during different driving scenarios. This vid is NOT to demonstrate the performance of my Z.

they are resonated. not much louder at idle, sounds the same as before actually. it starts to get loud once there's torque. it seems like the more torque you have to use the louder it is. it depends on what gear your on. quick launching from 1st all the way to the beginning part of 2nd gear is loud. also, flooring it on 6th while going 60mph is annoying. i keep my rpm's high and it produces the best sound. you can tell the car wants to breathe. i've always driven like that anyways.

there's also a way to make no noise. i would have to launch real slow. gradually gaining speed to cruise. meanwhile, geo metros are passing you. i only do that when there are Po-po's.
