I really like the exhaust note/tone of the stock z. i was wondering if theres any aftermarket exhaust that basically has the same sound, just louder.

the nismo exhaust is almost the same a little deeper and a little loader.

if you want it to sound like a race car...get the RSR GTII...it doesnt sound like a honda lawn mower engine that you hear going down the street, it has a nice deep tone... find a whole bunch of brands...and use the search engine for each one! there are pages and pages on exhuast. good luck

 

Fast Intentions true duel 2.5 inch exhaust system out preforms most of the exhaust systems and sounds close to stock if not louder, but with same note of stock exhaust. FI 2.5 TD exhaust system and testpipes sounds great. Another way to increase your exhaust note is to just get high flow cats with your stock exhaust or test pipes(loudest, for most power, but not street legal). I heard Nismo too and it sounds close to stock too. Hope this helps.

 

The solution is simple. Move more air through the OEM exhaust.
