Default Crack in plenum spacer

Do you guys think this will affect performance? It's one of the smaller holes in the spacer...not sure if it will cause an air leak. The gasket it came w/ doesn't cover that particular hole.

as long as the crack isn't through the interior portion, it should seal fine...do you know how it cracked? It's not a stressed component - maybe someone dropped it.

Are you sure that's a crack? Because I think the way MD made it, there should be some type of "crack" there. I looked at mine when I first got it and that's how I remembered it looking

If it is truly cracked, you can have it welded or use some type of JB Weld to fix it. It could also be a casting mark (I cannot tell from the pics).

MD makes their spacers from 2 peices that fit together; the location where the 2 peices fit together is very smooth and almost invisible...the pics he has looks like a real crack

You sure about that? The Skunk is composite and that looks clearly like metal.

Yes. I know what my own design looks like.

That's 100% Skunk.

Oh, I'm not saying that it's def yours, just saying it looks like a metal piece which would not be consistent with a Skunk product.

It looks like a cell phone picture using a nearby lamp as a light source. (with the usual cellphone picture distortion)

I think the lamp is adding glare that makes it look like metal.

Besides, look at the cracked tab... There is no such tab on the MD spacer.
