Default 07 Stock exhaust

Is the 07 exhaust system the same as 03-06? headers like G35? Y pipe is the same?

We took it off my car and it is a little different. the Y-pipe has little plastic weights on them, I guess to reduce vibration. The headers are different for the new motor as are the cats. The flange in between these two is at a different angle and has an interior seal that is different. The rear muffler is minus the air shield on the muffler but is pretty much the same as far as mounting points.

Hope that helps. I have some pics somewhere. I will try to post them later.

EDIT: Found y-pipe the rest of the pics I don't have at the moment.

Even so, that y-pipe looks like a huge improvement over the 03-06.

That said, it's pretty disappointing that the 07's are not coming with the promised true dual exhaust

a question then... will a cat-back exhaust for 03-06 model fit in 07 z's? a friend of mine just purchased Invidia G200 for his 07 assuming that it'll fit... but I just wanted to make sure.

yes, for comparison here's the y-pipe out of my '06, along with the nismo on the left..
