If you look at this popcharger the maf is on that small piping portion.. Hence all the wiring around the filter and if you look right under the dipstick its about two inches below it in the picture.... Im sure if you actually open your hood and grab your screwdriver this install will be easier than taking a ****.. issingmonkey:

I can see why the OP went with this fine titanium choice replacement. Afterall, it's common knowledge that the biggest performance bottleneck inside the engine bay is that dam stock tube.
Would be a bargain even if priced at $800.00

Damn dont give him a heart attack.. His tube isnt like that.. It doesnt have the maf mount on it.. Therefore hell have to use the Amuse to the stock maf small tube piece..
That is a CAI.. Therefore it will have the maf mounted on the piping unlike a regular ram intake..

So you paid $300 for a tube that has a 85x higher thermal conductivity rate than the plastic tube that comes on the car (or the plastic used on many other aftermarket systems)? It does look cool though.

So this pipe should replace the portion of the z-tube above the maf-sensor. The amuse pipe is essentially the same thing as a carbon fiber/chrome z-tube that can be found at http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=307 The bottom portion of the stock "z-tube" which contains the maf sensor above the airbox will be used w/ the amuse pipe that connects to the manifold. Can someone verify? There should be no fitment issues if this is correct. Thax 4 the feedback. I will post results when installation is complete

are the rubber hoses packaged w/ the amuse pipe meant to function as "bellows" as seen on the stock z-tube in the pic above--attaching the tube to the stock parts?

Pics will be uploaded once installed. But can someone verify that the blue silcone hoses "connect" the stock parts to the amuse pipe w/ 2 clamps on each sides--even though the pipe does not actually touch the stock parts--and this is ok?
