Default Look What usps delivered to me on a Sunday!

Amuse titanium intake pipe. Here are some pix. Its specifically sold for the 350z and I have a g35, I'm not sure if it will fit w/out an extra sleeve or something. I guess there is only one way to find out if there is a difference in size b/w the g and z air inlet pipe... box came w/ the intake pipe, some hardware (4 clamps and what looks like 2 samco like rubber hosings, ad for titan exhaust, but no instructions.

Does this part replace the "z tube" or something else?

Very pretty. Where do you connect the MAF sensor?

So is this picture misleading?:
http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com....jpg&item=5620

What else do I need to make it work like the pictures suggest? Is this a usdm/jdm thing? The pipe is made specifically for the vq35de. That would suk if I just had an expensive piece of titanium to use as a paperweight.

Don't you use the stock Z tube which houses the MAF. This Amuse thing seems to replace just the big plastic portion of the whole intake deal leading to the throttle body.

I vote for paperweight.. Looks like ur gonna have to call them and blast them for 1. Not sending instructions, 2. How the hell you gonna run the maf???

^^So modification to the z-tube would be necessary to install this? I'm a little confused, it came w/ no instructions or pictures or anything like that

From the pic provided by bulletproof it looks like the old Injen intake which you would have to use the stock Z tube to house the MAF. The Amuse portion should just adapt to the stock Z tube without a problem.

That must be where it goes. Thanks. If it too long, cut it with a hacksaw. If its too short, get a longer rubber hose connector.

^^So the amuse pipe connects directly to the manifold and the car stays stock from the z-tube back? And no cutting/welding should be necessary?

Actually no, the reason I thought it would be impossible is because where my maf is mounted on the SC piping.. But as I said before NA is different and the intake piping is straight to the end.. then the maf.. then the filter..

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...Code=Z3303-JWT

If you look at this popcharger the maf is on that small piping portion.. Hence all the wiring around the filter and if you look right under the dipstick its about two inches below it in the picture.... Im sure if you actually open your hood and grab your screwdriver this install will be easier than taking a ****..
