stock air filter issues

okay so i bought a new oem air filter and it is oiled up. my airbox is oiled up i mean dripping! what is going on. is the new beige color stock air filters oiled???

OEM filters aren't oiled. The rubber gasket around the edge of the filter might be a little greasy to keep it from drying then cracking and leaking. Did you buy from dealer or auto parts store?

I have no idea how oil would get in the air box. When was the last time you checked the airbox when it DIDN'T seem oily?

Was your PREVIOUS air filter a K&N?

+1. Neither are the standard aftermarket ones. Where did you get this filter from?

once again, the stock oem nissan filter comes with oil on it now. sort of pre oiled. I DID not put oil on the filter. do you guys know if you stockers were oiled up
