Eww ricey is bad.

If I do this I'm def. going to use some kind of something in it's place instead of just a straight pipe, maybe a 12" glass pack.

I cut the resonator out of my Z a little while after i had gotten it... just to see what would happen. I can weld and have the equipment so it was a reversible 5 dollor mod (price of pipe) I hated it and found it to be raspy and sound horrible IMO. I purchased the nismo cb less than a week later.

 

Yeah if you remove the resonator it'll rasp a bit more, if you have test pipes then it will rasp way more.

One thing to keep in mind:
-Resonators remove high pitced frequencies
-Mufflers remove low pitched frequencies
