Default HR Y-Pipe pix--help

Got the hr y=pipe for the z and was looking to see if it can bolt up to my revup. The length seems to be the same as the nismo y-pipe which is next to the hr y-pipe in one of the pics.

Can anyone verify that this is the HR Y-pipe and is different from the previous y-pipes. Does anyone have pix of the y-pipe from the revups?

Thanx

That's definitely the HR y-pipe

for the well being of this community i have the following thinking.
-The y pipe on the hr is the same as the y pipe on the new g35 sedan, only the y back are different, so its a cost cutting to have 2 model utilise the same parts.
-The diameter of piping is the same as before 03+
-gains with y pipe have been made from piping diameter (from 2.5" stock to 3" and only if coupled with 3" exhaust.
-my thinking keep you money and buy a real performance catback for performance, because this is in no way improvement

i could be wrong

Thx 4 your input. But, then why did Nissan redesign the y-pipe? The original y's were shown to bery restrictive in design--same diameter, but hr y-pipe looks less restrictive to me imo--less restriction in airflow--more power, albeit how small, no? Also, the 07 g35 sedan y-pipe is different than the one for the Z--I compared both at the dealership and the flex section is smaller on the sedans.

look at comparison of stock y-pipe:
