Default Nismo CAI questions

I've a simple question, I've been in the forums now (going on 40 minutes) looking for Nismo/whistle/whine/install and all various combinations of those words so If some one says search I'm going to stab you in the neck!

Just installed my Nismo CAI. Everything seems to be in order, I took the car out for a quick spin to listen to it, and feel for irregularity's. While the car is at a certain throttle position it make a whistle noise coming from the CIA. It will also make this noise if you blip the throttle. Its a quick whistle then the normal whoooosh sound the CIA make. Question: is this short whistle normal for the Nismo CIA or do I have a leak I need to handle tomorrow?
*also note its not a whine because its only continuous at higher speeds when its pulling in more air and even then if you go past 60% throttle it goes away and is replaced with a roar*

This isn't the first CIA I have installed but the truth of the matter is all the other ones where on smaller engines and of different brands The whoosh sound I know is normal the whistle I've never heard before.

So all I need to know is this a normal sound or do I have a leak to hunt down.

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if there is something wrong or not, but my Nismo CAI doesn't make whistling sound tho.

LMAO, just because i dont want to be stabbed in the neck ...there is nothing wrong with your CAI....i too have had CAI's/SRi's on smaller engine cars but the Z makes this inamous "whistle." This whistle is also louder if you have an intake in SRi because its closer to the driver.
