Default My car makes a funny noise..

When I go over a bump, I hear a thump, like metal against metal. This is new.
I checked under the car, and it looks like the exhuast pipe is hitting the rear sway bar. This never happened before, and it had a lot of clearance before. I'm not sure how they changed.
I had an alignment done by sears auto when this sound started, so I'm wondering if they messed something up. Any ideas?

Did you happen to hit a dead St. Bernard on the highway doing 70? That did it for me in the past.

lol, amusing

Make sure your exhaust hangers are in place and snug. Maybe one of your rear mounts is popped out and it is causing the exhaust to sag or bounce. If thats not it, then what did you hit that would bend the sway or piping?

I have a custom SVRT exhaust on cusco sways. There was tons of clearance before. It sits just like stock. Ill jack it up tomarrow or today and see whats going on. I think that one ofo the hangers may have just slipped out since theres not a buldge at the end of it to keep it in the rubber hole.
