Default AAM 2.5 maxflo

Anyone have this set up with a twin turbo set up, also is it loud or rattle? Im looking for some feed back on this exhaust Its been almost a year with my TT set up and Im now going to throw on an exhaust. I like the calm quite type of exhaust that dont catch the eye of many people I like to stay stock looking for the most part. I went to AAM and they gave me a price of 1200 for the exhaust and at that price it opens the doors for alot of other options.

what else do you have done to your exhuast? AAM is a great company and their stuff is top notch...if you have cats, I don't think it'd be too loud b/c the turbos quite things down too. (I have headers, TP's, and AAM's 3"...it's a loud, but I'm going for max power)

you might want to ask Mike at AAM...they've got lots of customers w/ FI, so he would have a fairly good idea of how it'll sound.

IMO aam exhausts are not worth the money due to the generic mufflers they use. They do appear to have a good piping design but it just seems way overpriced.

IMO, AAM's stuff is priced correctly...the muffler's and mid-pipes they use work well together, and it's one of the best (if not the best) exhaust systems you can get for power (along w/ quality and customer service). It takes lots of time ($) and parts ($) to develope an exhaust system that will flow well AND sound good. If you compare their prices to other similar companies, they seem to be on par...so it comes down to if you like the performance, look, and sound of their system; plenty of ppl go with cheaper exhausts, and plenty go w/ systems that cost 2X AAM's exhaust.

In the end, you can get all the components and materials for less, but it's the experience and craftsmanship that costs the $$.

that's my

Well I live right down the street from AAM and got a chance to see it in person. I hate there Customer service there but one thing I can say is that they make good products. AAM did not have one that was complete They use vibrent mufflers I think thats what I saw. I know there making a killing from using cheap mufflers but who else em I gonna get a nice stock looking exhaust from?

Umzzz The main reason and Im sure you know how I roll; The aam 2.5 looks stock and they will use my stock tips or somthing that looks stock. My only other option is the APS the greddy is not the look Im going for and From what I have heard they are pretty loud. I just need somthing to open up my exhaust a little and have dave tune me up to 410hp After that Im good.
