Default Goop coming out of Exhaust

Anyone have an idea of could be coming out of my exhaust... It looks like resin (tar) that heated up and ran out of the right side pipe of the exhaust. The left side doesn't have any. I have a stock exhaust.

I've racked my brain this one and can't come up with any good ideas. Only thing I can think of would be oil that caked up one of the cats and baked long enough to become resin like. The stuff is thick, like resin from a pipe...

I'm open to any ideas, and no suggestions a bad one. Let me know what you think.

Thnks

If you have true dual exhaust, check the coil packs on that side. It is very possible that you have one or more that is(are) bad and running very rich on that side. Happened to me. Garage had crap caked on it. Not good on the socks...

My Z eats oil and has a tar colored crap that comes out of both tips and builds up on the bottom half of the tips. It starts out a light brown color, then if I don't wipe it off, cakes on more layers and turns tar like black.

The car has 36xxx, just past warranty of course.

I hadn't thought of soot mixed with condensation... that's a possible culprit.

I didn't think I was burning much oil, but im going to start watching that level like a hawk. It sounds like Chad's describing the same thing.

Oh, and it doesn't smell, not even the faintest smell.
