One is an X the other is an H . Its all in the name, actually in the letters

X and H pipes have the same goal...to balance a true dual system and increase scavenging.

The X-pipe is really the best performaing solution for 6 bangers, and depending on design, most others as well.

It all started with the H - and then 'upgraded' to the X. There are better designs than others though...
