greddy ti-c, burning my rear bumper?

Just got word from Greddy they recalled the Ti-c exhausts for burning the rear bumpers. Sounds like a law suit is against them.

too bad. I hope they remake it so that it sticks out further. Love the exhaust and wanted to buy one until i heard of the bad R&D

But from what you said about the section where your exhaust is melting your bumper, i believe its because of the horrible design Greddy made with their single exhaust because the outlet of the muffler is to tucked in the rear bumper. Apex'i and JIC's singles stick out all the way so the outlet of the muffler doesnt come incontact with the rear bumper

hmm. . .so does this mean that Greddy will be buying me a new bumper?

idk what you are talking about... i see no recall for the exhaust at all. where did you find this information about a recall?
