whats the next quietest exhust?
Fujitsubo + resonated test pipes FTW!!! This is my own personal setup and hands down the best sounding combination period....I'm gonna sound a little cocky here and state this as a fact not an opinion.....
lol
But honestly I have heard a few Nismo's that sound good with stock cats, but add test pipes to the nismo or greddy exhaust for that matter and they totally change the sound that you origianally had, becoming raspy and not as crisp sounding....You can take my internet .02 for what its worth, but I can tell you that I spent months researching the PERFECT 350z sound and finally achieved it....One day I will post up a sound clip, but you must hear one in person to really appriciate the harmony this combination produces.

Fujitsubo is good too, they make the nismo exhaust.
Borla sounds ok but looks cheesy.
Stillen is overpriced.

lolI also have Fujitsubo with resonated test pipes. It sounds very amazing. Not rasp at all.
My Blitz exhaust is relatively quiet...when compared to the nismo. Crusing speed it's just about the same as stock. When you go over 4-5k rpm, it's alot louder than stock, but not to the point where stuff in your car is rumbling from it.
I personally love it.

If you are looking for the quietest I would get the Fuji. The Nismo is slightly louder than the Fujitsubo even when you have your stock cats and headers, but once you put after market cats and/or headers it will be quite abit louder and some what raspy compared to Fuji. Another exhaust I recommend is the Tanabe Medalion Touring and I must say it is very quiet and sounds very nice imo. Also both Fujitsubo and Tanabe do not include the y-pipe unlike the nismo. So you save abit of cash if you get the nismo.
So imo I would go with:
1. Fujitsubo + ypipe
2. Tanabe Medalion Touring + ypipe
3. Nismo but once you have hfc or tps and headers I would not put it in the quiet list anymore
What I recommend is you go to a Z/G meet and listen to the exhaust systems and that way you are able to hear which ones you like and are quiet in your opinion since quiet can be subjective.

I don't think I saw B&B on here. I just replaced my Amuse titanium with the B&B. It is quiet at idle but has a good bark to it as she revs up. I'll grab some videos next week, but this clip on their web site is pretty much what mine sounds like:
