Default Popcharger + Stock Airbox?

Has anyone tried this yet? I was looking at it and looks like it might fit. You would have to open up the airbox though...it's kinda glued together. Also probably have to make a custom bracket to mount the venturi ring inside... Anyone want to donate a stock airbox? Hahah

I am thinking about doing this too. I might try to salvage an '06 airbox from a junkyard or something. Looks like it would be a fun project. I haven't checked yet to see if the length of the popcharger filter is short enough to fit within the airbox.

I had this on my old set up. Very easy to do and sounded the best and probably provided good protection against heat. Not sure what size cone I used but I had to cut the top of the box off and it fit right in.
