Skunk2 Plenum Spacer
This is my first "performance" mod. It's been about two weeks so far and I can't say that I feel any difference in power but the engine does seems to rev smoother especially over 4k.
I have yet to replace the STB. Driving without one is VERY noticeable. I tried to replace the stock bar using washers as spacers. It seems to me that the bolts are not long enough to properly attach the bar and clear the engine at the same time. I was able to get the bar on although the passenger side made contact with the engine. As one member noted in a different thread, this transferred engine motion throughout the car making it very rough to rev.
A buddy of mine gave me the piece for $50 so I can't really complain. Overall I'd say it's a decent mod. But I really need to find an aftermarket STB now.

Its a good power for dollar ratio.... for $50 ya can't go wrong. Just make sure you seal it well and can deal with hood rubbing (350Z). Go for the Crawford, Stillen, or APS STB to bring back the stiffness you may have lost.
