Default 1500 for Nismo exhaust/CAI...deal or no deal?

I found a guy who is a nissan tech who is willing to part out the nismo exhaust and CAI from his Z and install it on mine for $1500...he also wants to keep my stock exhaust and intake system...is this a good deal?

1500 for those used parts no way man. West Covina Nissan is selling just the nismo exhaust brand new for like $950, install should never be more than about $100. For about $1350-1400 you can have BRAND NEW ones installed AND keep your old stuff or sell it. You could easily sell your Z tube to someone here with a G35

for used? not so much

if you could get it for under a 1000 it would be worth it.

Nismo exhaust: 950
Install yourself: Free (and easy)

Nismo intake: trash
Buy: Injen, stillen or stock. Intake doesn't do much.

I just saved you 550 bucks.

whoa!!!!!$1500????WTF?!?!? Hell no. You could get a used Nismo exhaust for like $500 and ditch the cold-air intake. Stick with stock intake with K&N filter or JWT popcharger.

Definitely RIPOFF!
Hit up Jeff@westcovinanissan for mad hookups!
You can probably get both from him for around $1200 or less.

Lol. You tell him not to get the Nismo which is like $300 new, but to get an Injen or Stillen which is around the same cost and doesn't do much more...?

I'd say Popcharger or K&N filter in the stock air box. Save yourself $250 there. And look for a used Nismo. I got mine for $575.
