Default Injen CAI heat shield question

Hi all.

I installed my Injen CAI about month ago. I had no problem so far.
but I read the thread, someone had problem with his AEM CAI and
AC fluid leaked. And I found out my heat shield it touching some pipe (i not sure what the pipe is for), does anyone think it will make any problem?

Looks like a coolant pipe.. can you stick something between the pipe and the edge of the heatshield? I don't think you will want any rubbing.

I tried to bend it with plier, but I couldn't
I thinkg i should disassemble CAI system
to bend the heat shield.

When I saw that my heat shield was rubbing up against the AC pipe I took it back out and made a bend in it so it would not touch. I would suggest that you do the same.

I had the same problem - when I started tightening the heat shield down noticed it was digging into the pipe. Before it went too far I backed it out and bent the heat shield so that I could see some space between it and the pipe. I don't think the shield went in too much so hopefully everything will be OK.
