Default Plenum Spacer Question

Ok,

In the Marketplace forum there is a guy selling two plenum spacers I assuming he made. A 5/16" space and 1/2" spacer. What I am asking is that on his, he has an extra peice to it, where as the motordyne does not have that extra piece. Is that something you need or is it truly extra material?

Sry, don't have pics or link to the thread but i know it's in the Marketplace under classified intake.

the guy is supposed to have a good rep with other nissam forums. The extra piece in the middle is just his design. Is it necessary? Apparently not since Motordyne doesn't rock a middle seciton to thier spacer, and currently posses the best rated spacer on the market. Will the spacer work? probably. Will it work as well as proven designs? Probably not. Roll with Motordyne, they have a good rep for a reason. (save a hundred with one spacer and you'll end up spending another 300 to fix your cut corner)

Also, the center section of his spacer probably replaces the plastic inserts you place on the bolts for the Motordyne kit. Just giving it proper clearance in the middle with the spacer instead of the bolts.
