I think the only way to gain more than 8whp is to have several other supporting mods that are going to benefit from a better flowing exhaust. That being said, on a car like a 350z with a factory exhaust as efficient as it is, you will be lucky to see 8whp.

 

yeah, exhaust doesn't give that much hp. All of us pay a lot of money for exhaust ranging from 500-3000 dollars. If there was actually an exhaust that gave 20whp, i think everyone would get that. We are paying out of our asses for brand names, looks and sounds for exhaust. HP gains is the least of our worries because like SOLO stated, 8whp max, it will be nothing noticable anyways.

 

but exhaust makes the v-tec kick in sooner!

but those were all just single runs on one day. take that same car with those same mods about a week later and the numbers will be different. why is this? temperature, humidity and other factors affect how a car responds on a dyno. so yeah, that day he gained 20 whp. also you got to realize that each car responds differently to mods. so that guy got 20 whp out of his, that does nto mean your car will do the same thing. on average from all the dynos done on here the best i have seen is 12 whp on multiple runs, different days, and averaging the totals. some of these guys know what they are talking about because we have been messing with the car now for close to 4 years and have seen the results of what works and what does not work.

 

You are about as dumb as a hammer. First you ask for information and advice on this exhaust. Then you make claims that the Z WILL gain 20WHP from JUST an exhaust. Then you post two threads as 'proof'. The first one is ONLY a graph that my 12 year-old could photochop, and the second is not even on topic. Every one of thos post reports (on different exhaust, on different cars) over a 8whp gain on a exhaust alone.

You idiot, I asked people if they had any experience with this Exhaust, and of course, not one person so far had any idea. You cannot give advice on something you don't know. Furthermore, I pointed out that the people who owned, and Dynoed the HI-TECH exhaust were gaining 20whp on average. Never once did I claim Exhaust on Z's average 20whp. My Post are still there, unedited.

Im sure that if the 20whp was indeed true most vendors/shops on here would have been on it and been selling it to members on here. Why does no one know anything about this exhaust....hmmm tells you something, because its BS, even with those dyno sheets. An exhaust producing 20whp on a Z without any supporting mods would be a miracle in the Z world, no joke.

 

10whp has been dynod for the HKS by sp engineering.

Hmm not really....an average is the average of numbers and 8whp would fall between a 6-10whp range.

 

I'd like to see that 10 hp dyno though.
