Default kinetix ssv...is there hope?

so i know majority of us hate the ssv, due to its price and that it tends to do nothing, and even lose power. i searched and came across this thread however. they seem to support it for running a direct port setup, and the fact that they got about 25+whp out of it.

most run it on an n/a motor and lose power, but how does it do on an f/i motor? its nowhere near the kinetix claims, but it seems somewhat decent gains. click that link!

now, that was on a built tt motor, how about a st setup?? maybe the spacer is just an overall better solution, but maybe theres hope for the ssv

If so, I've got an SSV sitting in my garage that I can sell to you for a good price! Keep hope alive!

use your money on proven gains. hell for 400 you could have test pipes and a plenum spacer.

some shop owners like jeremy at performance factory don't seem to notice any difference at all with different intake manifolds/plenums with FI. That he gets power one way or another.

That said, I'm happy with my SSV. I don't think it's hindered me that much. Sam at GT Motorsports said he didn't think it'd matter much if I switched it when I asked him what he thought
