Default Need Help with exhaust install ASAP

Today I am trying to install a new exhaust system on my 04 Z. i have been able to loosen most of the bolts and the exhaust is just hanging under the car, my question is, does any one advice for how to remove the exhaust from the rubber hangers? i have wd40 them a lot and try to pull on them but they wont come out far enough, the hardest ones are on the rear muffler on the oem exhaust the ones real high up where my hands cant fit very well. please help.

just undo the bolts that hold the rubber hangers and it will come off fine. also be sure to take the muffler off the mounting brackets. then you can get the rubber off of those as well

I sprayed mine liberally with WD-40 then used some channel lock type pliers to force the rubber over the "nub" on the end of the hanger. Then I just pryed them off with my hands. Was pretty easy, but not sure if the fact that my car is only a few months old helped or not. Another thing you could try is to apply some heat to the hangers to make them more plyable. Something like a hair dryer or something maybe.

I finished the install this after noon and once i got the rubbers things off the install was real easy, to remove them i ended up taking a screw driver and pulling from the rear of the rubber hanger to force the nipple out. it work well enough., also does anyone know what to do with the ground wire that was attached to the Oem exhaust. i just bolted it to the body, is this bad or no.
