Arrow When is a GOOD CAI coming out for the Z???

I am not impressed with Injen or AEM at all, because there performance in the Z is shady. I want a good, reliable CAI that I know gave me more HP and works great. Does anyone know when a decent CAI is coming for the Z???

The K&N typhoon system sounds the most promising to me. It supposedly has ~10hp to the wheels. Do a search, a rep from K&N has been on the board doing some promotion. I am holding off untill the NISMO launch and K&N. I will probably make a decision late summer when everyone will have one in the market.

Question is, how much HP do you think ANY intake on the VQ motor is going to give you?

You are sadly mistaken if you think that you will pick up more than 5-10HP. Given a dyno's lack of consistancy unless fully calibrated before each and every run, even a 5HP gain can be within the plus/minus accuracy of the dyno.

With that being said, I use the AEM CAI, and I (with out an actual dyno) feel that the car has a better tip-in throttle response, better mid range response, and pulls harder at full throttle than the stock intake, or the JWT pop charger that I had prior to the AEM.
