I have HKS / Hotchkis - No clearance issues. Assuming your x02 mates up properly with no alignment problems, you should be good to go.

I would put up a sound clip but if you search their are a dozen on here and also youtube.com Plus the camera I have wouldn't do the exhaust any justice as it sounds so much better in person.

can anyone comment on the inside of the car with the x02? Is there much drone? Like 6th gear at 65? Or idle? I cant find a clip of it from inside the car.. really want to hear that though before buying anything.

On an 07 there is a big difference in power with the x02 from stock?

 

Cruising/idle = no drone.

 

really that is great news. I can't stand drone at low rpm in 6th gear, or an annoying idle.

 

Yeah, I barely hear my exhaust cruising on the highway at all. The only time it drones is going up a hill where you have to give it some throttle, but all exhausts would drone at that point.

 

Hey whats up GQ. When are we going to have another meet? That was great. Anyhow I'm not sure of the exact setup he had on his G35 but I believe he was running a magnaflow muffler. His name is Chris and he manages the office at muffler tech on florin road he probably wouldn't mind if you stopped in and talked to him about it. Really nice guy. It did sound awesome really deep and aggressive tone.
