Anyone deal with these guys before? i know they sponsor the forum, but has anyone had any problems with em? they seem legit...

I wasn't inpressed. I ordered an exhaust system from them. I called them first to make sure they had the product in stock. Eddie said, "Yep, sure do. It will go out today." I called them later when the item still showed "Not Shipped." Eddie said, "it shipped" again. I asked for a tracking number. They never gave me one. Three days later, I cancelled the order and purchased it somewhere else.

The only reason I ordered from them? Three day shipping via FedEx advertised in their post. But, they didn't have the item. And, they didn't really seem to care. Eddir was on vacation after that. And, Adam was like, "Oh, whatever. I can't get to Eddie's stuff. I don't know. Blah... Blah... Blah..."

Yes, they did refund my money. But, I had to wait 5 more days for it to post back to my credit card - which in turn screwed up my install.

Gruppe-S price matched them plus even did one better. I got the exhaust overnight. Every went smooth. Communication was great. Up-front and straight forward. Felt like they actually cared to do business with me.

They have since removed the post and all of the rants back and forth. Okay, whatever. They are a Honda shop. I should have known better.

My two cents (with documentation to back it)

 

Nothin but love for Eddie here... Every PM was promptly replied with an actual PHONE CALL. Exhaust was delayed but every step of the shiping process was effectively communicated whenever I asked for it.

ADMAN must have delt with Eddie after a massive hangover

eddie is a great guy to deal with , never had a problem with them . anyways everybody have to make a mistake every now and then . we cannot expect everyone to be perfect . i'm not nutswinging or anything just putting my 2 cents in .

 

And, with me - it was not.

 

I've ordered most of my Vortech supporting mods from them and very happy with their service

 

I had issues ordering a UTEC w/ them that took a long time to resolve. I got very frustrated with the whole ordeal and even posted about it. In the end I did get compensated for the long delay. Would I do business w/ them again? no

 

I ordered my exhaust from them. Got it. End of story.

 

Theyve done great for me ...exhaust, plenum, etc..few other goodies...

Eddie helped me and did a great job w/my situation...sorry for those who had bad experiences..

Eddie is great, never had any problems with any of my hks exhaust i have ordered from him. Anytime I have a little extra cash saved up I order an extra and have it melted down into puddles of steel poo.
