Default rsr gt2 exhaust question

i just bought this exhaust from a user here, and got it installed. Love the exhaust and the sound, but the exhaust sticks out noticeably.... is the exhaust supposed to stick out that much? i only had the stock exhaust before this... and the stock exhaust was pretty much flushed with the rear bumper. just wanted to hear from other users who has the same exhaust....

2. It's POSSIBLE you have the G35 version...

actually the muffler is made for the g35 and the 350z.. but for the g35 version there is an extension piece which i did remove.... but i will post pics.... maybe i'm just not used to seeing the muffler not flushed with the rear bumper....
