If you wanna compare it to dynojet numbers you can subtract about 5% and be pretty dead on
The real difference is the deltas --- goes in --- gains power --- end of story
Wheel and tire combos vary ALOT in weight, drag etc... so dynojet numbers are spolied by wheel and tire setups....slicks, 19" etc...the real numbers that remain consistent are at the hub which us what Shawns dyno is....at the hub
Bisi uses it to tune his 9 sec all motor civic.....he purchased his own dynapack because you can load the engine and see repeatable results
The beauty of Shawns dyno is you can reference TONS of VQs there and while there may be various dynojet numbers from each one --- his dyno removes wheel/tire choice from the equation which leaves those looking to compare X to X mods on the VQ in a much more scientific position --- one guy with an X02 may be on stock 17's and the next guy will have 3 piece 19" wheels with heavier tires.....a dynojet number will muck up the results whereas the dynapack will show you a much better apples to apples comparison of setups taking the rolling mass out of the power measurement
The bottom line is his dyno doesnt read "high" it reads VERY accurately....its NOT a dynojet....its much much better, better for tuning and Shawn does an amazing job with it
Great numbers and for stock cams I would say thats not a bad gain for a simple header change on a non-revup --- wish I could have been there to see the tune in progress
