HKS Exhaust
#21
hey dragon, i know it's not my business, but are you sure you need TT ? I know you think 500 whp is cool, but dude, i'm having trouble with 280 on some sticky *** yokos. So once again, have the hks fixed right and have fun with it !

Somebody mentioned using a cold weld? I wonder if JB Cold Weld would work? But if it was me, I'd just take it to an exhaust shop and have it welded up the old fashioned way... And while you're under there, might as well replace the flex joints too... If they can, make sure they use SS tig, so the weld itself is stainless.

Good news, I fixed the major leak... the flex pipes are crap, both sides leak out, can tell cause the steam comes out of them from inside the exhaust when it starts up... but the major hole was fixed with this stuff called ThermoSteel... good up till 2400degrees, and only gets stronger with heat. And heck yes turbo is needed! I am gonna get a widebody kit just to have wheels wide enough on here to handle it without them pokin out.

nothin says lovin like some 14 inch wide rear wheels and a nice set of 305 or bigger tires on a sweet body kit like the BRS Autodesign's number 2 kit... they got that on their shops yellow Z and it looks so porsche / high end car lookin.

Does anyone know the length of the flex pipe? I need to order some, but I don't feel like jacking up the z to measure the length. Since I lowered it, I hate the extra effort it takes to get under the z. If somebody gets under the hks or xo2, measure theirs and let me know. Thanks!
